AIMP is a powerful audio player that allows any user to listen to any kind of music and has an outstanding sound quality. Its visual style resembles the Winamp one, so the users can get acustomed to it quickly. Additional skins are also available for installation. The program includes an 18-band equalizer, a window to display visual effects and a playlist editor for organizing audio files. A well thought fading effect makes the songs transition pleasant and a nice volume normalizing feature avoids volume changes between tracks. Besides beying a music player, AIMP also has three extra utilities which enable the user to record any sound on the PC, convert audio files from one format to another and view or edit tags.
