Editor’s Review of Skype Launcher 1.5.3

Skype is the most popular voice chat software that not only allows you to voice/video chat with your friends, but also lets you call landlines or other mobile phones, or even define your own phone number and have people call you believing they call a regular phone (while you answer with Skype). It’s an excellent free tool that eases day to day communications.

This doesn’t mean that it couldn’t be better, for instance they still have to release a stable version of Skype for mobile phones, or as it is the case of the program in discussion to allow you signing in the same time with multiple Skype accounts. Maybe you have a personal Skype account and a business one, or maybe you have a Skype account and your wife has one too, or maybe you are a power gamer and have multiple accounts (offer consultancy for different games), so there are many situations when signing in multiple accounts at once is needed.

Luckily there are programs such as Skype launcher. This little program (which is free btw) gives you the possibility to sign-in on multiple Skype accounts at once. Using this small little gem is very easy, these being the steps you have to do to sign in multiple Skype accounts:

• Download and install Skype Launcher using the link provided above


• Once it’s installed (there’s nothing to configure during installation), start it and open the Configuration window


• You’ll see an Add button which interests you, as you click it and are able to add a Skype account


• Use the Add button to add as many Skype accounts as you want, and when you’re finished just click on Save


• Start Skype Launcher and all your Skype accounts defined will launch and you’ll have multiple Skype windows with different logged-in users

Skype Launcher also has an USB Export option, which basically lets you export these accounts in case you want to move them to your laptop or another computer, thus not needing to re-define these.
