Farmville is a farm simulation game (real-time) developed by Zynga. It can be played only via Facebook, the social networking website, and it is currently the most popular game on Facebook with over 80 million active users. Farmville’s fan page has also over 22 million fans, which simply shows just how popular it is, even if initially Farmville started as a clone of Farm Town, another real-time farm simulation game on Facebook.

When starting Farmville, you will obtain a customizable character and a small rectangle piece of land. You start plowing, seeding and harvesting different crops on your land by purchasing the needed items from the marketplace (buying seeds for instance), and you sell the result for a profit. In time you can also purchase animals, trees, buildings, vehicles and decorations, not to mention that you will be able (for a price) to expand your farm thus growing more crops and earning more. An important part of Farmville is the social aspect, as by having many friends that play it too, you can rapidly gain other goods that you’d have to pay much more for. You also earn ribbons for achieving certain goals, and each ribbon comes with its own reward. In the end the goal of the game is to expand your farm as far as possible, gain as many neighbors as allowed, and strengthen your social connections.

Farmville Cheat Engine is a very popular search because there are many users that try to cheat and increase faster their level. Cheat Engine (currently at version 5.6 but more popular is Cheat Engine 5.5) is an application that you can use to modify the behavior of single player games (not only flash games), in the idea of making it easier to gain levels, obtain goods and so on. The developer also says that it can be used to debug games, although Cheat Engine gained popularity on the terms of, well, cheating. By default your character can move in your farm, but it takes a while to go from one place to the other. A cheat you can use is to lock your character by surrounding a small area with different objects. To do so, first you have to establish where is the default location where your character will be placed – this is located in the plot in the middle of the farm. You can see that by visiting a neighbor farm, and after that going back home to your farm. Now in the plot where your character is placed, put around your character Farmville hay bales (which you can purchase very cheap from the market). Each type of crop grows at a different time, and if your crop has grown and you don’t harvest it in time it will wither and you won’t be able to recover your costs. This is why it’s important to choose a type of crop depending on how much time you intend to stay away from your computer – for instance there are crops that grow in 4 hours, 8 hours, 1, 2 or more days. There’s an even better cheat to avoid your crops to get wither, Zynga recently launched in Farmville an item called the unwither ring, which basically will let you “revive” a crop that is rotten and still gain the profit from it. So get that ring and you’ll never have to worry about withered crops.

This is more of a recommendation rather than a cheat. If you’re just starting with Farmville, you don’t have access to that many seed types, so you need to grow a plant that gives you the most money per hour. This is why you have to choose the strawberries, as they grow in only 4 hours (this is fast in Farmville, at least for a beginner), and you gain enough to grow faster if you are a beginner.
